Connekt EV Charging is a UK-based Charge Point Operator and infrastructure installer who do things differently Connekt designs and operates workplace and destination charging solutions that integrate seamlessly into drivers’ daily lives. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Specialist role based in the Manchester. This is a unique opportunity for a sales professional with an entreprenuerial mindset. Connekt are looking to use the succesful blue print developed in scotland with their team of 30 to england- started with our new england head office. The Sales Specialist will identify and qualify new business opportunities, conduct outbound and inbound sales activities, and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract signing. Responsibilities include presenting Connekt EV Charging solutions with a focus on charging as a seevice to fleets to prospective clients, preparing proposals, and negotiating terms that align with customer needs and company goals. The role not only involves building and maintaining strong relationships with workplace and destination partners, but also being apart of the core team who will play a hige part in scaling Connekt England. The Sales Specialist will also provide basic product training and guidance to customers, maintain accurate records in the CRM system, and contribute feedback to improve sales processes and customer experience. Qualifications - Entreprenurial mindset, drive and hunger Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal presentations, professional written communication, and active listening. Proven Customer Service experience, with a focus on building trust, managing expectations, and resolving issues effectively. Demonstrated Sales skills, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals in a B2B or solutions-led environment. Experience with Sales Management or pipeline management, including forecasting, reporting, and use of CRM tools. Ability to deliver basic Training to customers or partners on products, services, or processes. Previous experience in EV charging, energy, technology, or related infrastructure sectors is an advantage. Comfort working in a fast-growing environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Full driving license and willingness to travel within the Manchester area and UK wide including training at Connekt HQ in Scotland OTE of £100k , Salary sacrifice, Private health insurance, company incentives.
