We are very proud to be a partner of the NHS.Description:We are seeking to recruit a Warehouse Stock Controller due to internal growth of the operation. We are looking for the successful candidate to assist with the management of our inventory. As a Stock Controller you will be a key member of the team, taking accountabilities for all crucial stock counting activities, whilst ensuring accuracy of goods, receipts, transactions and supplier claims. You will work in multiple areas within the warehouse and be skilled in all tasks. You will ensure that high standards are maintained, and efficient processes are in place for stock quality and rotation so that we can continue to deliver an efficient, safe and vital healthcare service. Main responsibilities:Assist with the best practice and standardisation of all stock processes.Conduct regular stock counts to reconcile physical inventory with the ERP/WMS (Microsoft Business Central 365).Plan and replenish the Warehouse as and when required, ensuring stock is always available for picking.Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent stock shortages or overages.Ensure all damages are written off/disposed of in a controlled manner.Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, place orders, and generate reports.Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper rotation of stock to minimize waste and ensure product quality.Ensure all transfers and adjustments are performed in line with company procedures.Monitor stock pricing and overall valuation based on pricing.Assist the goods in team with ensuring numerical and pricing accuracy against underlying supporting documents.Liaise with the finance team on inventory queries on the GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced)Liaise with the procurement and data teams on the set-up of products in the ERP/WMS to ensure smooth processing of transactionsAssist with general administrative tasks as needed.
