Role & Responsibilities
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and personal growth of your students. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, creating a positive and inclusive classroom where every child thrives. You'll work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure each student's success.
Main tasks include
* Lead engaging and challenging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
* Develop a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitor, assess, and record student progress.
* Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
* Foster strong partnerships with parents.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues and teaching assistants.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
* Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
* Excellent classroom management skills.
* Commitment to fostering a love of learning.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse needs.
* Passion for working with young children.
