Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support teaching and learning across a range of welcoming secondary schools in Durham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HLTA who enjoys making a real difference in the classroom and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
What you'll be doing:
* Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4
* Working closely with teachers to plan, prepare and assess learning
* Providing targeted support for individuals and small groups
* Promoting positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment
You need:
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
* Experience working in a secondary school setting
* Strong classroom management skills
* Positive, flexible and proactive approach
* Genuine passion for supporting children's learning
