Job Description:
SystemsAccountants are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with expertise in SAP B1 to support and improve core business applications for a client focused on wholesale and retail operations. The role involves hands-on support, system enhancements, and acting as the internal SAP B1 subject matter expert within the IT team. Responsibilities include supporting SAP B1 and related systems, managing data integrations, liaising with vendors, supporting user testing, and contributing to automation and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide functional support and configuration for SAP Business One and related applications.
2. Manage application issues, user roles, permissions, and routine support across business units.
3. Support data integrations between SAP and platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, Proteus, and CCO.
4. Coordinate with vendors on escalations and change requests.
5. Assist with user acceptance testing, documentation, and internal training.
6. Contribute to automation of manual processes and system enhancements.
7. Identify data gaps and opportunities for data capture improvements.
8. Support project delivery and business change initiatives with the IT team.
9. Validate data, triage issues, and oversee integrations for critical workflows.
Role Requirements:
1. Practical knowledge of SAP B1, including support, configuration, and workflows.
2. Experience with tools like Codeless Platforms BPA, Boyum B1up, and Cindercone Magma.
3. Familiarity with eCommerce integrations, WMS, POS, and reporting tools.
4. Experience in wholesale, distribution, or retail sectors.
5. Understanding of translating business processes into system requirements.
6. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate is desirable).
7. Experience with SQL, preferably in SAP HANA environment.
8. Awareness of Power BI, Data ETL tools, DAX, or Power Query (desirable).
9. Effective communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical users and coordinate with third parties.
10. Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
