Primary School Teacher (Full‑Time) – ASAP Start – Southall
Working Hours: 08:30 am – 04:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
About the Role
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons for a class with a high level of additional needs. You will be supported by a strong staffing structure, with one teacher and three Teaching Assistants in each class. This role requires a committed professional who is confident working with children with high need, ASD, and is passionate about inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
* Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and support staff.
* Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
* Attend weekly CPD sessions (Tuesdays after school).
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience within EYFS.
* Proven experience working with children with high levels of need.
* Experience in one or more of the following settings:
o Special provisions
o Special schools
o Mainstream settings supporting children with additional needs
* Strong understanding of:
o ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
o Non‑verbal communication strategies
o Sensory needs
o PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)
* Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
