Nanny duties and expectations
The nanny will care for our 9½‑month‑old daughter in a loving family home that has recently relocated to Tiverton. The position is part‑time, a few days a week, and involves play, comfort, gentle encouragement, and nurturing support through each stage of developmental growth.
What we’re looking for
Ideal candidate: genuine warmth, natural ability to connect with very young children, experience working with babies and toddlers (essential), relevant qualifications (childcare or early years background, paediatric first aid certification, etc.), strong references, reliability, flexibility, and open communication.
Days and hours required
* Monday, Wednesday, Friday
* Monday start time flexible (e.g., 10 am–3 pm or 11 am–4 pm); hours remain consistent throughout the year.
Salary and perks
Salary offered: £14–16 per hour. A car is provided for work use only.
Family household
The family lives in a town house located in Moorhayes, a rural village 20 minutes walk from Tiverton town and 10 minutes walk to Knightshayes. No pets or additional household members. The parenting style is gentle, with no screens for the child.
