* Project Oversight: Lead a diverse portfolio of water and geotechnical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
* People & Internal Initiatives: Inspire and develop your team, fostering a collaborative culture that prioritizes growth and excellence.
* Continue to drive AECOM’s reputation as a leading consultant on water projects, solving clients’ most complex challenges, ensuring client satisfaction and project delivery, and setting up internal structures and skills.
* Engage with current and prospective clients to build effective relationships, resulting in revenue growth and exceptional quality.
* Lead from the front, driving cultural behaviors of collaboration, innovative thinking, trust, result‑focus, and fostering psychological safety for colleagues.
Qualifications
* Proven leader with a strong background in water and geotechnical engineering.
* Excellent client management skills, with clear and confident communication of complex concepts.
* Focus on team development and internal collaboration to drive success.
* A visionary mindset to shape the future of our water and geotechnical business across New Zealand.
* Extensive experience leading business performance and owning a P\&L across a broad range of projects, delivering strong business results.
* Track record building high‑performing teams, architect for change, expanding capability and capacity while driving flawless execution.
* Collaborative and influential leader able to build relationships with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders; contributes to the success of the regional Leadership team and the ANZ Water Leadership team.
* Forward‑thinking, embraces change and implements cutting‑edge digital technology, accountable for outcomes.
