Somerset Bridge Limited provides claims handling services to our insurer partners. Our supportive and efficient claims teams handle almost 50,000 claims a year. Compensation: £33,990 - £39,140 / year

What You’ll Be Doing

* Handling your own portfolio of claims through to settlement, involving property damage, injuries, and potentially providing replacement vehicles on credit.
* Investigating claims, determining responsibility, and liaising with other parties to settle claims.
* Providing training and coaching to colleagues, conducting audits, reviewing processes, and developing strategies to meet KPIs.

Training

Comprehensive training is provided, including an 8-day induction and a 10-week onsite training program. Opportunities exist to move to hybrid working once competent.

Responsibilities

* Deliver excellent customer service via phone and written communication.
* Guide customers through the claims process and keep brokers updated.
* Manage claims valued up to £125,000, identify indemnity concerns, potential fraud, and determine liability.
* Settle claims effectively, support colleagues, and develop strategies for optimal outcomes.

Requirements

* Experience managing a personal injury caseload.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to multitask.
* Ability to provide coaching and review data to develop strategies.

Preferred

* CII qualification.
