About the Role
We are seeking Trainee Education Support Assistants to support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs within a specialist education setting. This role provides excellent on-the-job experience for candidates looking to build a career in education or pastoral support.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour.
* Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom routines.
* Encourage positive engagement and social development.
* Provide consistent support throughout the school day.
* Help maintain a calm, structured environment.
Skills & Experience
* Interest in education, behaviour support or youth work.
* Resilient, patient and proactive attitude.
* Experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential.
* Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
