Senior Estates Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estates Surveyor to provide strategic property and estate management expertise across a diverse commercial and corporate property portfolio.
The role will focus on estate and asset management, landlord & tenant matters, leasing and licensing, acquisitions, disposals, and commercial property strategy, ensuring assets are optimised to deliver financial, operational and wider social value outcomes.
Key responsibilities include managing lease events (renewals, rent reviews, expiries and breaks), commercial lettings, portfolio performance, property compliance, acquisitions/disposals, and strategic asset reviews. The successful candidate will support major regeneration and property projects, identify revenue generation opportunities, and provide high-level property advice across the organisation.
You will manage external consultants and contractors, oversee property data and reporting, and line manage a small professional team.
Candidates should hold a degree and MRICS/RICS qualification, with strong experience in commercial estate management, asset management, landlord & tenant, and strategic property advisory work. Public sector, local authority or complex multi-asset portfolio experience is highly desirable.
