Overview
We are seeking a Transport Supervisor in the Transport and logistics sector. Our team will work the morning shift, assisting with the running of the transport operation.
Core Working Hours
Tues‑Sat 3 am – 12:30 pm. Flexibility required.
Employment
Full‑time, permanent. Competitive salary up to £37,000‑£40,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
* Review defect sheets & plan route deliveries
* Swap and change drivers on routes if sickness occurs
* Take out deliveries or routes if required
* Book vehicle repairs
* Update driver rotas
* Review drivers’ time sheets and working hours
* Complete driving assessments
* Assist advisor team with customer queries
* Maintenance administration
* Training and development of team members
* Communicate, engage and manage team members
Required Skills and Experience
* Full driving licence is essential
* Reliable & professional
* Strong work ethic
* Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers
* Respectful, honest and with the utmost integrity
* Adaptable to change with influence & engagement skills
* Decision‑making & prioritisation skills
* IT literate; intermediate MS Office (Word/Excel)
