Due to growth, we seek a Cost Manager with proven experience in Energy and Infrastructure sectors within our Midlands team. You will work on existing and new client projects, maintaining high standards aligned with AtkinsRéalis’ digital goals, and supporting business expansion.
You will support business growth, foster collaboration, and deliver cost management roles effectively.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Building long-term relationships within our organization and with clients.
What You Will Bring:
* Experience in Cost Management services for complex infrastructure.
* Knowledge of industry benchmarks, Cost and Work Breakdown Structures, measurement methods (e.g., RMM, NRM).
* Network within energy and/or infrastructure sectors.
* Innovative approach, technical excellence, and service delivery skills.
* Experience monitoring and controlling costs against targets.
* Cost-efficient solutions identification and application.
* Collaborative behaviors with multidisciplinary teams.
* Understanding of industry challenges and opportunities.
* Skills in commercial, quantity surveying, or finance, with knowledge of standard contracts (NEC, FIDIC, IChemE).
* Awareness of project performance measurement techniques like Earned Value Management (EVM).

* Support development of Cost Management tools like Power-BI, PRISM, Oracle, Deltek, Ecosys.

Project Leadership:
* Manage project portfolios and delivery.

* Provide technical advice.
* Maintain project commercial accountability.
Technical Leadership:
* Broaden expertise and core competencies.
* Stay informed on legal and technical matters.
* Participate in training.
* Apply quality and environmental standards.
* Support client relationships.
Team Building and Management:
* Grow service and sector teams.
* Engage actively in project delivery.
* Mentor and develop team members.
Attributes:
* Experience with local or national infrastructure clients.
* Consultancy experience with successful project delivery.
* Degree in construction or finance-related field.
