Housing Project Manager Location: High Street, Esher, KT10 9SD Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 4 Months Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £25.62 per hour Job Ref: OR16308 Job Responsibilities Work on housing projects to ensure successful delivery. Identify and implement service improvements. Coordinate with partner agencies and stakeholders like charities and landlords. Support the Housing Strategy and Enabling Manager in project delivery. Manage project staff as needed. Develop and deliver project documents; assist colleagues and manage expectations. Submit grant claims and activity data to government agencies. Align projects to ensure successful delivery and staff understanding of roles. Ensure compliance with all relevant guidance. Person Specifications Must Have Educated to A-Level standard, including GCSEs in English and Maths. Significant experience in delivering high-quality face-to-face services. Experience in building relationships with landlords and housing providers. Understanding and appreciation of equality, diversity, and safeguarding. Organized with strong problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management. Sound knowledge of welfare benefits and tenancy law. Nice to Have Qualification in project management. Experience in supporting vulnerable groups and refugees. Experience providing housing advice. Direct experience in managing housing or resettlement projects. Understanding of challenges facing refugees and asylum seekers. Full valid UK driving license.
