JOB – Automation Mechanical Engineer
LOCATION – Birmingham
TERM – Permanent
SALARY - £30,000 - £35,000
My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team based in the Birmingham on a permanent basis.
The Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* At least 2 years' relevant experience as a Mechanical Engineer or related position
* Experienced around automation/material handling
* Have a confident technical skillset with a Mechanical Engineering qualification
* Experience with welding would be an advantage
* Have an excellent work ethic and positive attitude
* Be a team player
The Mechanical Engineering Technician role will involve:
* Supporting/overseeing the Projects and Service team
* Dealing with customers on a technical level
* Working to budgets and project timings
* Investigating new product lines and areas within which the company can expand
* Being involved in different manufacturing processes
* Ensuring projects are delivered correctly and efficiently
* Keeping track of company documentation, equipment and necessary upgrades
