You will be working as part of a Facilities Team responsible for the Newark Bus Station Site, supporting members of the public, Bus Station users, and Bus Operators daily.
Your duties will include securing the building, managing alarms and key holding, performing cleaning and caretaking tasks, and communicating with the public and Bus Operators to share information and assist with travel requirements.
Newark Bus Station operates from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday. You will work 6.5 hours daily, on a two-shift pattern of alternating early and late shifts: an early shift from 6.30am to 1pm, and a late shift from 12.40pm to 7.10pm.
Applicants should demonstrate high levels of customer care, as daily communication with the public and Bus Operators is essential. Experience in Site Management and Security is important; previous experience at Bus Depots or within Transportation is desirable.
Disabled applicants meeting the essential criteria will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for full-time posts, both permanent and temporary.
