Job summary
The post is part of a specific team to undertake autism assessments with children. You will be based within the CDC neurodevelopmental team in Plymouth but assessments will take place both within the child development centre and in various settings across Plymouth and West Devon. Flexible and hybrid working is possible. The team is very supporting and has a very strong MDT way of working.
***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***
Main duties of the job
Working within the paediatric neurodevelopmental team undertake and coordinate assessments of children in relation to ASC/ADHD and LD. Liaise with wider MDT and schools to ensure all information is available and support needs identified for the child. Undertaking school observations, ADOS assessments and clinic reviews, formulating reports and attending MDT discussion will form the main elements of the role.
