A leading provider of bespoke low voltage electrical systems is looking for a Senior Estimator to join its growing team. This role is a key part of the commercial function, focused on preparing accurate and competitive project costings for a range of electrical infrastructure solutions.
Position Summary
As a Senior Estimator, you'll be responsible for producing precise cost estimates for switchgear and related electrical projects, ensuring both competitiveness and profitability. Working closely with the sales function, this role requires deep technical knowledge and the ability to assess project scope, manage risk, and guide junior estimators. The position reports directly to senior commercial leadership and offers a strong platform for career development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Estimating: Create detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labour, and ancillary expenses related to electrical switchgear and infrastructure projects.
2. Bid Preparation: Analyse project documentation (specifications, drawings, and scope) to develop accurate and commercially sound proposals.
