An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Temporary for 1 year Clerical Officer Receptionist. You will provide a professional receptionist and general administrative service for all our customers, which will assist with the delivery of a high-quality service which meets the needs of the residents of County Durham. WHAT IS INVOLVED: Duties and responsibilities include: Providing a friendly, professional, front-line response to internal and external customers. Ensuring that all initial queries are dealt with efficiently and courteously. Dealing effectively with all face-to-face enquiries. Organising and producing information for display boards, including maintaining an up-to-date supply of leaflets. Creating a warm and welcoming environment for customers Supporting customers to know how to access information and seamless support when they need it, either digitally or in person, reducing the need to repeat their story. Signposting and handholding customers to other services and support. Scheduling appointments for customers when required. WHAT WILL I NEED: You should have a minimum of 4 GCSEs (Graded A-C) including English Language or Literature or NVQ Level 2 in a related subject or equivalent You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have some experience of working with the public in a reception environment.
