X4 Technology are partnered with a global law firm offering the opportunity for a Data Tester to play a key role in their data transformation programme, focused on building a new cloud-based data platform.
Key Responsibilities for the Data Tester:
* Develop and execute data test plans, ensuring accuracy throughout the ETL process
* Identify and apply testing strategies at key ETL points
* Automate testing to improve efficiency and coverage
* Use SQL and MDX to query and validate data across multiple database types, including cube databases
* Collaborate with stakeholders during UAT and later testing stages, communicating clearly and influencing decisions
Key Requirements for the Data Tester
* Strong automation skills in data testing
* Proven experience delivering data test plans in live environments
* Solid understanding of ETL workflows and testing techniques between data warehouses and lakes
* Ability to engage stakeholders with confidence and strong communication skills
