Overview
As Procurement Officer, you'll support the Procurement Manager in delivering an efficient, compliant, and value-driven procurement services across the Trust. You'll be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Your work will directly contribute to the Trust's ability to deliver high-quality education and support services.
Responsibilities
* Source goods and services and negotiate contracts to support the Trust.
* Support procurement processes to ensure efficiency, compliance and value for money.
* Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance where applicable.
Qualifications
* Experience in procurement or purchasing roles;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Excellent administrative and record keeping abilities;
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel;
* Familiarity with e-procurement or finance systems;
* Confidence in negotiating and managing supplier relationships.
