Role Overview Join our dedicated team as a Senior Behavioral Care Worker to: Support children/families during assessment placements Observe and record interactions Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals Key Responsibilities Observe and document -child interactions Support children with daily routines Produce detailed, evidence-based reports Maintain a safe and structured environment Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures Essential Skills & Experience Experience working with children, young people, or families Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills Ability to handle challenging situations calmly Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection Desirable Experience Mental health support experience Have worked in secure units or residential/custodial settings Supporting children/young people with challenging behaviors Trauma-informed care and complex needs Qualifications Essential - Level 3 Diploma in Residential Additional Requirements Enhanced DBS check Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and sleep-ins Full UK driving licence (desirable) Why Join Us?
