A growing luxury fashion brand based in West London is looking for a Management Accountant to join its small finance team. The business is profitable, privately backed, and continuing to expand in the UK and overseas. You'll work closely with the Financial Controller to manage the month-end process, ensure accurate reporting, and support upcoming system and process changes.
This role suits someone with a strong technical grounding from practice, and an understanding of stock or inventory. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants to take ownership of their work, and is looking for a role with long-term potential to develop into a more senior position.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Qualified accountant, ideally from a practice environment
* Strong technical and audit/accounts preparation background
* Understanding of stock/inventory accounting
* Confident with VAT, intercompany and compliance processes
* Hands-on, proactive approach and willingness to get involved across the team
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including reconciliations and journal adjustments
* Support financial control, audits, and statutory compliance
* Manage intercompany accounting, invoicing, and reconciliations
* Assist with system and process improvements, including an ERP implementation
* Provide insight on inventory, sales, and performance to support business decisions
