Site Services Technician required to visit customers' sites UK-wide to repair, test, conduct maintenance, and install.
A practical hands-on engineering background is required in either an on-site or factory environment.
We are looking for a highly driven, customer-focused, practical Engineer. You can expect to spend 5 nights per month away from home and travel UK-wide
The role
An initial training period will include working with other engineers, there after site visits alone will be required
Assembling distribution transformers, LV/HV switch gear onsite
Fault-finding and resolving after-care services and warranty issues with the equipment.
Completing maintenance & breakdown support
Basic site testing requirements for equipment, transformer oil samples and arranging analysis
Work and collaborate alongside other contractors whilst on site
Completing site reports for work conducted, ensuring RAMs are completed
Working on HV/LV power distribution sites, including transformers and switchgear.
Normal working hours are Mon-Fri 9:00-5:00 (37.5 hours per week) with 30mins lunch break, paid overtime
Full training and authorised person certification will be provided
Requirements
Qualified mechanical or electrical engineer
Full driving licence
Practical engineering background i.e. mechanical assembly, maintenance, motor winder, mechanic, maintenance engineer within a factory, workshop or site-based
Willing to travel UK-wide, stay away overnight, and often work in dirty environments
Currently live within 20 miles of the office
