Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria GCSEs at grade AC/9-4 and must include (as a minimum) English Language and Mathematics. Science GCSE at grade AC/9-4 or successfully complete screening assessment with education provider (to be able to take screening assessment you must hold level 2 in Pharmacy services qualification and/or have 2 years pharmacy experience) OR Have a level 2 Pharmacy services qualification and be able to successfully complete a screening assessment with the education provider. Aged 16 or above. Resident in the UK/EU for the last 3 years. Must not hold a Level 3 qualification or above in the same training subject. Must not already be in any form of formal government-funded education. Desirable criteria NVQ or BTEC level 2 in a GPhC recognised qualification e.g. Pharmacy Services Studied to AS or A level standard or undertaken further education certificate(s). Experience Essential criteria Customer service experience (e.g. retail, hospitality) Team working experience Experience of personal time management Desirable criteria Understanding of the NHS vision & values Health service or dispensing experience Knowledge of the NHS Long Term Plan and the NHS constitution Pharmacy experience in any sector Understanding of COSHH for handling of hazardous Pharmaceuticals Skills Essential criteria Problem solving skills Organisational skills Confident IT skills with an ability to use Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams & Excel) Good numeracy and literacy skills (to carry out basic pharmaceutical calculations) Desirable criteria Basic dispensing skills Employer certification / accreditation badges
