Your Role
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of dedicated educators to deliver outstanding care and education.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a team of dedicated educators to deliver outstanding care and education
* Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring exceptional standards and compliance
* Foster a positive, inclusive culture that promotes team engagement and retention
* Build strong relationships with colleagues, families, local authorities, and external partners
* Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the safety and well‑being of every child
* Mentor and nurture talent within your team, identifying opportunities for growth and professional development
* Lead and attend monthly management meetings to collaborate and problem‑solve
* Ensure the team completes mandatory training regularly
* Collaborate with the Development Officer to ensure Daisy Fays operates in line with company and Ofsted standards
Requirements
* Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
* Proven experience in an Early Years leadership role (e.g., Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or Room Leader)
* A track record of achieving strong Ofsted regulatory outcomes, including “Good” or “Outstanding” ratings
* Passion for innovative, child‑centred education in a unique environment
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards, SEN, safeguarding, child protection, Early Years legislation, and health and safety
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
* All roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid certification. All personnel will be required to subscribe to the DBS Update service once the DBS has been applied for.
