The Role
We’re recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a large, clean, high-volume manufacturing site. The role sits within a well-established engineering team and focuses on maintaining production lines, responding to breakdowns, and supporting ongoing reliability improvements.
You’ll be working on a fast-moving production environment, where safety, uptime, and teamwork are key.
Key Responsibilities
1. Attending reactive breakdowns across production lines
2. Planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
3. Mechanical fault finding on bearings, rollers, gearboxes and wear parts
4. Electrical fault finding on safety circuits, relays, motors and inverter drives
5. Supporting boiler checks and general site maintenance
6. Assisting with reliability improvements and planned maintenance development
7. Working closely with production and engineering colleagues
About You
8. Apprentice trained with NVQ Level 3 minimum
9. Manufacturing or forces background
10. Comfortable working in a reactive environment
11. Confident fault finding and breakdown response skills
