Key Responsibilities of a Secondary Supply Teacher:
* Deliver pre-planned or self-prepared lessons across your subject specialism.
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a focused learning environment.
* Adapt teaching to meet the needs of students with varied abilities.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and classroom activity.
* Follow school policies and work collaboratively with teaching and support staff.
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning atmosphere.
Secondary Supply Teachers Requirements:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Subject specialism in any secondary curriculum area.
* Experience working as a Supply Teacher across secondary schools is preferred.
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
* Ability to work in different school environments and quickly build rapport with students.
* A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
