Contentious Construction Associate 2-4 PQE
MAP Legal are working on a great new opportunity with a highly ranked Legal 500 firm for a contentious construction associate (2-4 PQE).
The role will include:
* Acting for a wide range of national and international clients on complex and high value construction disputes, including UK adjudications, arbitrations and TCC litigation.
* Undertaking dispute advisory work including ADR (for example, mediation).
* Dealing with a wide range of matters, such as final account and delay claims, quality of build claims, construction insolvency, bond claims, ACM cladding, other fire safety defects claims, professional indemnity and other insurance-related claims.
The ideal candidate:
* England & Wales qualified solicitor or equivalent with 2-4 years' PQE
* Experience of contentious construction work, and in particular working on both UK adjudications and/or TCC litigation and/or arbitration and other forms of dispute avoidance / resolution
* Able to work effectively, both autonomously and as part of a team as needed
* TCC experience in the context of fire safety related litigation, would be particularly beneficial
