Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Middlesbrough, UK
Main Responsibilities:
1. Site Planning: Plan on-site project activities related to the assigned discipline in coordination with the Site Manager or Site Construction Manager, including resource allocation, equipment, and milestones. Coordinate agreements with customers and external resources regarding installation targets, health and safety requirements, site organization, and policies.
2. Site Coordination and Monitoring: Manage all on-site activities from receiving the site area to project handover, ensuring alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
3. Stakeholder Relations: Act as a project representative, building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and local organizations.
4. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure a comprehensive HSE plan is in place and adhered to, promote safety awareness, and take necessary actions in case of violations.
5. Equipment and Logistics: Oversee proper handling, storage, and installation of equipment, coordinating logistics for timely delivery.
6. Sub-contractors Management: Manage subcontractors to meet quality and schedule standards.
7. Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs, manage petty cash, and oversee local purchasing within delegated authority.
8. Documentation: Maintain and update all project documentation, ensuring compliance with revision control.
9. People Leadership: Organize, staff, motivate, and develop the team. Manage local site facilities and logistics.
Summary: Supervise a team, coordinate work assignments, and conduct performance reviews. Candidates should have several years of experience as a Site Supervisor, with strong skills in site management, health & safety, environment, quality assurance, installation, and basic commissioning and civil works.
