This Project Manager position is integral to the social science activity within the Centre of Excellence in Water-Based Early-Warning Systems for Health Protection.

About The Role

Funded by Wessex Water and working with colleagues in the Departments of Psychology and Chemistry the focus of the role is on overseeing the development and evaluation of intervention strategies to minimise inappropriate medication disposal and to increase the return of unused medication to pharmacies.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing relationships with pharmacies and GP practices in the Somer Valley, in identifying and negotiating access to relevant data, informing and coordinating delivery of interventions, overseeing relevant data collection, and monitoring and capturing impact.

The successful candidate will be key to engaging and communicating with key partners, including Bath and North-East Somerset Council and relevant third sector organisations, in addition to GP practices and pharmacies.

About You

The ideal candidate will have evidenced experience of:


* Building strong professional relationships with project partners and stakeholders
* Managing health-related research projects
* Overseeing the collection and analysis of research data
* Coordinating and managing meetings
* Report writing
* Managing and monitoring project progress

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, have excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, will be self-motivated and work effectively in teams.
