Overview
Immediate starts available for experienced Care Assistants to work weekend hours in the Ilkeston area. We have rewarding work opportunities for an experienced Care Assistant to work for a small but busy care home housing up to 35 residents. Based in Ilkeston, you will work as part of the team following individual care plans and reporting any arising issues.
Responsibilities
* Take part in the daily activity sessions to entertain residents.
* Undertake housekeeping duties, including serving meals, feeding residents and laundry.
* Follow individual care plans and report any arising issues as part of the care team.
Qualifications
* Have 3 months experience within a similar care environment.
* Have a checkable work history.
* Have up-to-date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling and Infection Control. If you do not have up-to-date certificates, online training can be offered.
* Have an in-date enhanced DBS check. If your DBS has expired, we can arrange a new one for you.
* We do not offer sponsorships.
Role Details
* Location: Ilkeston area, working from 07:00 to 14:30 on Saturdays and Sundays.
* Employer paid rate: £12.21 per hour, rising to £13.33 per hour after a successful qualifying period.
