We are seeking a skilled Automotive Painter / Prepper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, spraying and finishing vehicles in an efficient manner ensuring correctness of colour match and final finish, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and filling in holes or imperfections.
* Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired shades and finishes.
* Apply paint using spray equipment with precision and care.
* Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the painting process.
* Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
* Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.
Experience
* Proven experience in painting or a related field is essential.
* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* A minimum of 5+ years experience with various painting techniques and materials is essential.
