About the job
This role involves planning, coordinating, mentoring, and supporting training and assessment for apprentices in the Early Years Education sector from level 2 to level 5. You will share your knowledge and experience to help apprentices achieve their programs at the highest levels efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
* Assess apprentices and employers, identify skill and knowledge gaps, and develop tailored training plans.
* Maintain records, undertake workplace observations, and support high-quality training to exceed standards.
* Assess skills and behaviors, provide feedback, and support portfolio development.
* Deliver training in knowledge, skills, behaviors, and key topics such as British Values, Prevent, mental health, safeguarding, and online safety.
* Monitor candidate progress, support portfolio completion, and facilitate assessments and reviews.
* Manage documentation related to training, assessments, and relationships with candidates and employers.
* Support the end Point Assessment process and ensure timely achievement of program milestones.

Essential criteria include:
* Qualification or experience in the subject area
* Up-to-date industry knowledge
* Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualifications
* Experience working with employers in training or customer relations roles
* Ability to develop strong relationships with employers and learners
* Strong IT skills and willingness to work with e-portfolios
* Motivation and initiative
* Full driving license and willingness to travel
Desirable criteria include:
* Assessor qualification
* Relevant degree
* IV/IQA qualification
* Experience in Further Education or similar environments
* Early Years Advanced Practitioner or Management experience
