Overview
Black Health Legacy is a long‑term research study that aims to improve the health of Black African and Black Caribbean people. The Research Administrator will become a key member of the team, supporting a senior group of academics led by Professor of Diabetes and Clinical Senior Lecturer in Primary Care in the Unit of Predictive and Precision Medicine at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health.
Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day administrative, budgetary and secretarial support to the team, including meeting organisation, purchasing, diary management, and coordination with wider Black Health Legacy teams. Work closely with multi‑disciplinary stakeholders and maintain effective communication with external partners.
Qualifications
* First degree or equivalent.
* Strong project administration skills and proficiency with digital tools.
* Experience coordinating across multi‑disciplinary teams and managing communication with external stakeholders by email and phone.
* Proactive, detail‑oriented, able to balance multiple priorities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Prior experience in research or medical administration is desirable but not essential.
