The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Bendi Forklift Driver on behalf of our client based in Crawley. This is a temp-to-perm position for the right person, offering a great opportunity for long-term employment with a well-established company.
Role:
* You will be is responsible for operating a Bendi (or Flexi) forklift to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse.
Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 8am to 4:30pm
Pay:
* £13.50 per hour
Responsibilities of the role:
* Operate Bendi/Flexi forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
* Load and unload goods from lorries or storage areas.
* Move stock to and from storage locations with care.
* Ensure accurate stock rotation and inventory control.
* Pick and pack orders as required.
* Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
* Carry out daily forklift checks and report any faults.
* Assist with general warehouse duties when needed
Requirements for the role:
* Valid Bendi/Flexi Forklift License (RTITB/ITSSAR)
* Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings
* Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
* Ability to work independently
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
