Barchester Healthcare is seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration to join a 60-bedded nursing home as a Care Home Clinical Lead. This is a clinical leadership opportunity with responsibilities for delivering high-quality care, implementing policies, managing projects, and providing coaching and mentoring to the care team.
Main duties of the job
As a Care Home Clinical Lead, you will use your compassion and experience to help deliver clinical care to the high standards Barchester is known for. You will ensure care is in line with regulations, implement safeguarding policies, oversee the creation of care plans, and make critical clinical decisions. You will also manage projects, evolve care levels, and provide training and mentoring to the team to keep them updated with the latest clinical developments.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registrationto join a 60-bedded nursing home and lead the night care team. This role is available for an immediate start (subject to DBS and compliance checks).
ABOUT THE ROLE As a Care Home Clinical Lead at Barchester, you'll use your compassion and experience to help deliver clinical care to the high standards we're known for. We'll look to you to make sure our care is in line with all regulations by doing everything from implementing our rigorous safeguarding policies to overseeing the creation of care plans. ABOUT YOU As Care Home Clinical Lead, you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. Experience of gerontology is important too, as well as a strong awareness of both clinical policy frameworks and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. Dedicated and motivational, you'll enjoy sharing your knowledge with others, which you'll have demonstrated through successful clinical mentorship and performance management.
