SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: Hourly rate £13.68
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

Are you a compassionate and resilient individual with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Manchester is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and help pupils access a rich and fulfilling education.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting pupils with special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech and Language difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
About the Role:
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted support for pupils with EHCPs or additional learning needs. This may include 1:1 work, small group interventions, and supporting inclusive classroom practice.
This role requires patience, empathy, and a proactive approach - no two days are the same, but every day is rewarding.

✔ Understanding of strategies for supporting children with Autism, ADHD, or communication difficulties
