Personal Assistant (PA) Vacancy - Greengate Brewery, Middleton This is a full time, office based role. We are seeking a highly organised, professional, and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director (MD). This role will serve as the first point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and efficient handling of various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, have excellent grammar, and be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the job. V ery occasional travel within the Northwest region may be required. Role specification: Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Managing Director, including calendar management and prioritisation, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements, including coordinating the activities of the Company Driver. Communication: Act as a liaison between the MD and internal/external stakeholders, managing calls, emails, and correspondence, and prioritising requests effectively. Document Preparation: Produce, format, and proofread confidential emails, letters, reports, and other business documents for the MD, ensuring they are completed to a high standard and filed appropriately. Meeting Coordination: Organise, set reminders, and attend meetings, prepare agendas, taking minutes, and follow up on action points. Travel Arrangements: Coordinate complex travel plans, including flights, accommodation, and itineraries for the MD and other Senior Leadership Team Members as needed. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, ensuring that business matters are conducted with professionalism and integrity. Office Management: Manage office supplies, handle mail, and ensure the office space for the MD is organised and maintained to a high standard. Project Assistance: Provide ad-hoc support on specific projects or initiatives as requested by the MD, helping to streamline workflows and ensure deadlines are met. Event Planning: Assist in organising company events and conferences hosted by the MD or JW Lees, including liaising with venues, producing invitations and representing the company on occasion as required. Required Experience: Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar administrative role. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superb grammar. Proficient IT skills, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other internal Company Systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks. Exceptional time management and multitasking skills. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
