Job Responsibilities
* Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites.
* Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Provide technical support and guidance to customers, addressing any queries or concerns.
* Maintain accurate records of service activities and report on equipment status.
* Collaborate with senior technicians to improve service delivery and efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while on-site.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Relevant technical qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) in engineering or a related field.
* Experience in a field service role or similar technical position is advantageous.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
* Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for equipment analysis.
* Full UK driving licence is essential.
* Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
* Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
