Job Description:
Customer Service & Production Administrator
Our client is one of the UK’s leading independent specialist steel suppliers, renowned for producing high-quality concrete reinforcement products. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Customer Service & Production Administrator to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Service: Answer incoming calls promptly, professionally, and courteously, ensuring customer queries are handled efficiently.
* Quotations & Orders: Build and input customer quotations into our software, follow up, and convert them into orders or move forward as needed. Input customer and purchase orders into Sage, producing all necessary paperwork.
* Job Packs: Collate and file paperwork from production to create complete job packs. Ensure proper filing once production is completed, ready for invoicing.
* Stock Management: Book in stock deliveries on Sage, ensure stock accuracy, and assist with stock takes as needed.
* Accreditations & Compliance: Ensure documentation for ISO9001 (CARES), ISO14001, EN1090 is completed, with training provided.
* E-commerce: Manage orders from eBay and website, prepare items and documentation for dispatch.
* Ad-Hoc Duties: Assist with various tasks as directed by senior management to ensure smooth business operations.
Essential Skills & Qualities:
* Reliable & Honest: Dependable with excellent timekeeping and integrity.
* Customer-Focused: Friendly and professional telephone manner.
* IT Proficient: Experience with Sage, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; understanding of manual calculations.
* Thrives in a Fast-Paced Environment: Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a busy setting.
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
Salary: From £26,000 per year, depending on experience
