Operating with advanced Saab Seaeye and Kystdesign ROV systems, the Supervisor is responsible for leading the safe, efficient, and technically sound execution of all ROV operations offshore. This role provides day-to-day supervision of the ROV crew, ensuring that personnel are effectively briefed, coordinated, and supported in delivering subsea tasks to the highest standards. The ROV Supervisor maintains oversight of equipment status and system readiness, ensures strict compliance with safety and quality procedures, and acts as the key offshore liaison between the ROV team, vessel leadership, and client representatives. By upholding the company’s safety culture and technical integrity, the ROV Supervisor ensures that operations are delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with project requirements, while actively supporting the competence development of the team. Your responsibilities as a ROV Supervisor: The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to; Oversee the safe and effective operation of Saab Seaeye and Kystdesign ROV systems across all phases of offshore work, including mobilisation, dive operations, and demobilisation. Lead the ROV team, ensuring all personnel are briefed, supervised, and supported in delivering operational tasks to the highest standards of safety and technical quality. Act as the primary offshore point of contact for all ROV-related activity, maintaining clear communication with the Offshore Construction Manager, vessel crew, and client representatives. Ensure full compliance with Boskalis Subsea Services QHSE policies, project-specific procedures, and applicable IMCA guidelines and recommended practices. Conduct and lead pre-dive checks, toolbox talks, and risk assessments, promoting proactive safety culture and operational readiness. Monitor ROV system performance, ensuring early fault detection, effective troubleshooting, and coordination of repairs with the offshore team and onshore support as needed. Maintain accurate operational documentation, including dive logs, technical reports, defect records, planned maintenance logs, and asset utilisation tracking.
