The School and Role
Our school in Bolton is seeking a Year 5 Teacher to join us from the Autumn Term through to the Summer Term. This is a crucial stage for our Year 5 pupils as they prepare for the transition to Year 6 and begin getting ready for high school. You will play a pivotal role within our school community during this period, supporting the development of lesson plans, creating exciting and engaging learning materials, and maintaining a positive and reflective classroom environment—all while being part of a thriving team of educational professionals.
Requirements
To be considered for the Primary Teacher, you will:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status PGCE (QTS), ECTS are welcome to apply
2. A qualified teacher with experience teaching Year 5 or Key Stage 2.
3. A commitment to setting high expectations and promoting academic excellence.
4. Strong classroom management skills and a clear understanding of differentiated teaching.
5. A passion for inspiring young learners and nurturing their development.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with staff and engage with the wider school community.
7. Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive approach to teaching.
