Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 + Commission
Permanent role, Monday-Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm with flexible start / finish)
3 Days on Site, 2 Days from Home.
D7 Recruitment is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join our expanding team. The new Consultant will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting Health and Safety professionals into both full time and short term contract roles. Your role will involve building relationships with both the client's senior management and candidates, managing the end-to-end recruitment process, and ensuring only the best talent is presented.
You must be passionate about making a difference to people's futures through strong and ethical recruitment skills.
This is largely a 180 Recruitment Position, with very little Sales/Business Development required. We act as the internal recruitment partner to a very well established Health and Safety Consultancy – recruiting their interim and permanent HSE Advisors and Manages for projects across the UK, Europe, Australia, Africa, the Far East and the US. We also act as a stand alone agency, servicing permanent and interim requirements from Contractors, Consultancies, Service Providers, Public Bodies, Property Owners and Energy Companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client's senior leadership.
* Understand client requirements and effectively communicate staffing needs to ensure a suitable match achieved
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
* Develop a pipeline of employed Safety Professionals in line with the clients’ needs.
Candidate Sourcing and Selection:
* Implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified and experienced Safety Professionals.
* Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidate suitability based on client requirements.
* Maintain a robust database of qualified candidates for quick and efficient placements.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and obtain all necessary background checks and certifications.
Relationship Building:
* Proactively engage with candidates to build a strong talent pipeline for future staffing needs.
* Attend industry events, job fairs, and networking functions to expand professional networks and attract potential candidates.
* Nurture relationships with industry leaders.

* Strong IT and Communication skills
* Driving License and willingness to travel to meet clients and candidates and attend industry events
* You will live within a commutable distance of Castleford, West Yorkshire and you will be able to work on site 3 days per week (Monday, Weds, Friday).
* You must be a people person, a good listener, a quick learner. You will solve problems logically and methodically and apply process to your working day, utilising our various IT systems and resources to full effect.
Desirable
* Some previous experience in a Talent Attraction or Resourcing role – preferably within a Built Environment/Construction/Design focused business with some prior engagement with HSE related personnel.
