Paraplanner/Trainee Paraplanner
Location: Hertford
Salary: Up to 40k DOE, with excellent benefits
Are you a Paraplanner seeking to gain extensive experience in a fast-paced chartered financial planning company? Or a trainee Paraplanner looking to advance your career? We are recruiting for a well-established Chartered Financial Planning firm based in Hertford.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process Leadership: Bring structure and attention to detail across operational workflows, ensuring efficient case management from start to finish.
* Paraplanning Excellence: Prepare high-quality suitability reports for investments, pensions, and protection.
* Case Oversight: Track, chase, and progress cases to minimize delays and reduce management intervention.
* Provider Chasing: Follow up with providers using automated systems (Outlook and CRM) to prevent bottlenecks.
* CRM & Workflow Management: Maintain accurate client records and case notes in Enable.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with advisers and administrators to ensure standards are met and accountability is maintained.
Experience Needed:
* Ambitious: 1+ years as a paraplanner, with a desire to become a senior team member and working towards your RQF Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning OR an experienced paraplanner with RQF Level 4 Diploma.
* Detail-Oriented & Organized: Enjoy creating order, spotting errors, and ensuring nothing is missed.
* Process-Minded: A problem solver who enjoys refining workflows for efficiency.
* Self-Starter: Proactively identifies tasks and takes initiative.
* Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with CRMs, task management systems, and Outlook automations.
