Residential Conveyancer/Solicitor

Location: Kendal
Position: Associate Solicitor/CILEX/Licensed Conveyancer
Department: Residential Property

A well-established and highly regarded law firm with offices across the North West is seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Property Conveyancer to join its busy Kendal office. The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEX) or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing. The successful candidate will play a key role in the firm’s thriving Residential Property team, managing their own caseload and contributing to the continued growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities


* Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and freehold/leasehold transactions
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, estate agents and third parties throughout the transaction process
* Deliver excellent client service through clear communication and efficient file management
* Confidently utilise legal technology; experience with SOS case management is advantageous
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to support team goals
* Participate in business development and marketing initiatives to enhance the team's profile


Candidate Requirements


* Qualified Solicitor, CILEX (Legal Executive) or Licensed Conveyancer
* Minimum 2 years’ PQE in Residential Conveyancing
* Ability to run a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
* Strong communication, client care and interpersonal skills
* Good working knowledge of legal IT systems; prior use of case management software is preferred
* A professional, proactive and team-focused approach
