Vision for Education are working on behalf of a secondary school in Bacup to recruit a passionate and dedicated History Teacher. This role is set to begin in September 2025, covering a resignation, and will be initially temporary with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent contract..
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher to join a dynamic and forward-thinking department. The successful candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The role involves delivering engaging history lessons, contributing to the wider school community, and maintaining high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.
This is a temporary position to cover a resignation, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum and support students' learning and progress.
