Class 1 Driver (4 on 4 off) – Newton Aycliffe
Velocity recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (HGV C+E) Driver on behalf of our client based in Newton Aycliffe. This is an excellent opportunity offering a temp-to-perm position after 12 weeks for the right candidate.
The Role:
* 4 on 4 off shift pattern
* Average 12-hour shifts
* Start times available between:
o 16:00 – 18:00
o 00:00 – 02:00
* Collecting loaded trailers from Warrington
* Delivering to retail stores
* Involves cage work and some handball
Pay Rate:
* £202.98 per shift
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence held for minimum 1 year
* Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
* Previous experience in a similar role preferred
* Comfortable with physical work including handball
