Your new role Our Humanities Department is made up of 4 History Teachers, 5 Geography Teachers, RE, Citizenship, Philosophy and Ethics. Due to the current postholder relocating, we are looking for a Humanities Teacher, predominantly focusing on History with some Religious Education. This is critical in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, facilitating a positive learning environment where all students feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. You will design engaging lessons, assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to raise standards of student attainment. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teaching staff, pastoral staff and parents to support the personal development of students, addressing their individual needs and promoting inclusivity. What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified teacher of Humanities with a proven track record of working successfully in a school environment. An understanding of what an excellent education looks like in the classroom with a strong understanding of the strategies needed to establish consistently high expectations.
