Your new role
We are looking for a customer-focused, On-Site IT Support Technician to join the team in Slough. This role involves providing 1st and 2nd line technical support to end users, managing incidents and service requests, and ensuring smooth operation of IT services in a corporate environment.
1. Provide hands-on support for end users across hardware, software, and network-related issues.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10, Microsoft 365, and in-house applications.
3. Build and configure laptops and PCs using SCCM.
4. Prepare and install new hardware including desktops, laptops, monitors, and docking stations.
5. Support AV and Teams meeting setups.
6. Perform basic network tasks including patching and cabling.
7. Deliver user training sessions, both in person and via teams.
8. Operate the Kiosk Bar, weing users and providing walk-up support.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Strong customer service andmunication skills, with the ability to support users at all levels.
10. Experience in a corporate IT support environment.
11. Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management.
12. Experience supporting mobile and handheld devices (Intune, DEP).
13. Good administrative skills with attention to detail and SLA awareness.
14. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and remain calm under pressure.
15. Fluent in English with strong verbal and writtenmunication skills.
